I was given a bag of fresh clams from my food rep gonna smoke some butts turkys and chickn just wondering if anyone has smoke clams before and a suggested method I could use while I am cooking everything else?

On the Barbeque Championship TV show, they had to do clams and lobster if I remember correctly. They didn't show much of the cooking other than it seems like I saw one of them setting the clams on the cooking grate and trying to smoke them a little. Get'em to open up and then put a dollop of lemon butter in there and slurp'em down.

Best to brine them for 10 min. then let them air dry in fridge overnight and smoke them at 100 degrees for 6 hours or 20 to 45 min of hot smoke.
