Ey all. Hope things are treating you right.

I came up with the idea of getting a grill hot, real hot (bout 600F) and the droppin a brisket on the top for about 10-15 minutes. Turning once during that time. This sears the juices in and then you take it off. Following this you place it in your smoker around 200F and let her go for about a day. Then pull that sucker off and chop it into chunks like you would burnt ends. Slab some snauce on it and have away with yo bread and buns. MMMMMM good!

Should work fine. It's less extreme than the way I cooked brisket back in the 80's, and those came out fine (everyone enjoyed them).
