I've had pretty consistent results cooking them fat down, w/water pan, mopping every hour and pulling it at 180. I always let them rest for at least an hour if not two. |

what kind of grill is it?
Some of those cheap grills just fall apart overtime, especially the burners. |

seeing this makes me want to pour every bag out on a tarp to sort before being used.
On the flip side I hope the manufacturer takes a closer look at how this crap makes it's way into the bags. |

take a peak in the bag (wood chunks) before you buy them, I bought two a couple weeks back at lowes and all the wood had mold on it. Both bags were sealed so it was obviously packaged pretty wet. |
