thanks to the posters commenting on how a tree grows...very good to know. dont know why, but it is kind of neat that guys that like to bbq are usually guys that also like trees.

try it by investing a few bucks in some chicken quarters and a rack of spares and smoking them.

i have seen guys get great results with all kinds of properly season hardwoods.

Jagged cuts, missing / bad welds on a $2500 rig isnt right and they should have been all over making sure they got straight with you.

I prefer wild turkerys slightly chilled, over ice. No clue why you want to foil them.

i reuse planks for fish all the time. i let them totally dry out after a cook and then scrape both char and and cook side.

since the plank should go on the grill to warm up before food is put on, ...
