I usually do indirect on the kettle...always a winner. But...I bought the rotisserie last month for the kettle..it makes a killer bird.

I used both. Like anything..each has its pros and cons. I love my vertical. Lots of space in the vertical, less space on the patio. Heres a pic of my stumps.

I ordered mine 2 weeks ago and love it! I also ordered an aftermarket S/S rotisserie basket...heres a pic of some beef ribs I did Sunday...they were great!
