Granulated brown sugar and/or Turbinado sugar. I make it up by the gallon and it will hold for at least several weeks. I have a gallon of it ready at all times in my restaurant kitchen.

Stopped in last week and got 1/3 rack of ribs to go. The sauce taste like "Cattelmens" from Walmart. The ribs were reheated in the microwave. I will never go back again!
