I also have an MES. It's great this time of year, when I can't run charcoal or the stickburner and maintain temps.

I do think I get better results over fire, but the MES still makes good smoked me ...

Try it and see what ya think, I set the recipe to 1lb because even if not using a smoker you can dehydrator it and or even oven it at 150F and get surprized.
