24 x 48 cylinder RF offset.


Do I need to add any extra to my firebox if I run a warming chamber on this guy????

Warming chamber will sit directly on top of FB...

24W x 24D x 36H

1 Door it is then....

FWIW... the door is 36" wide, leaving 6" on either end for supporting the shape of the tube.

The firebox was heigthened to provide space for the ash, this is why I`m asking questions before cutting.... cause I`m new to this... Very Happy

24"x48" pipe .25" needs a 7234.56 sq. in. fire box.

My fire box internally measures 21.5" Deep by 20.0" wide by 27.0" tall for 11610.0 sq. in.

That puts me at 160.5 ...

I don't understand how you went from inches squared to inches cubed.

It`s quite possible I have this wrong, hence my question.

The FB will not be butted up to the CC pipe but notched in 4" ...

This cooker also has a warming box directly on top of the fire box.

It will have 2 openings in it from the firebox, as well as 1 from the cooking chamber, hence the extra size of the fire box.

I have a 11717.5 firebox putting me at 162%.........


If I could reduce the opening in my fire box I could reduce the overall size of the fire ...

There is a 1" grease dam in the bottom of the cooking chamber with that 65" opening.

It tapers to the round sides of the 24" cooking chamber pipe.
