PostForum: Flat Top & Griddle Grilling   Posted: Fri Jun 30 17 5:26 am   Subject: Arteflame for the BGE
I got an Arteflame grill topper for my BGE and love it. It's like having a flattop and a grill in one. It puts a great sear on steaks and is also great for vegetables!

Has anyone ever put a discada on a BGE? I just got a LBGE and thought about trying it. I'm sure that is enough heat.

Thanks

I think the burner is great. It's high quality and puts out a lot of heat. The disk was ready to cook on in about 3 minutes, and I didn't have in fully on.

I bought the burner from them. It is 65,000 btu, not sure what the turkey fryer is, but it might be worth a try!

Rectived the Disc today and got it seasoned and tried some chicken and stir fry vegetables. Was great for a first cook! What's for dinner tomorrow?

I've used a Stoker on my UDS. Worked fine. Not sure if it is needed or not, since the UDS maintains pretty well without it. It was more a matter of having the Stoker to monitor all the food temps, ...
