Bring the temp down to the 210 -220 range, slower must be lower, Iv done 3-2-1 many times, the last part is hardly ever an hour

off the top of my head, soak some corn husks in salt water and line a wire grill box, the kind some people use on trout. spread out the bugs and grill till done, worth a shot

there are some differnt kinds of expanded metal, one is completely flat and the other is like a cheese grater , the flat is better for cooking, but will flex more, I agree that stainless isnt worth it ...
