You know, the funny thing is that I've never had the problems with straight cast iron as I've had with my enameled cast iron Dutch oven. Seems like anything you cook in it with starch or sugar in it b ...

Looks great, Kevin. If brisket wasn't as big an investment in the ATL as it is in TX, I'd cook more of them myself. Wife isn't a big fan of BBQ pork or chicken, but she is a roast beef fanatic. Best b ...

The new Hoyo from General is fantastic. You owe it to yourself to try it. Also, from IPCPR new releases (I just sent out about 400 cigar samples from the show to reviewers last week), the new LGC Seri ...

Kimber and Sig Sauer are featuring some really attractive models right now. I hope they fire as nicely as they look. Craftsmanship isn't really valued as much these days, it seems.

Shoulders are often referred to as picnics and also often have a large piece of skin covering one side of the meat as well as around the leg bone at the bottom. They still work as well as butts (did t ...

If you can find them (limited distribution), the GTO Painkiller line and the JFuego 777 are exceptional smokes. I've been paying full retail for them at the local B&M and you know how much I hate ...

You really can't go wrong with a Thermoworks probe thermo. I've been using them for close to 20 years now and I've only lost 2 during that time (minus replacement probes). I have probably 5 of them in ...

Last month or so, I picked up 3 whole packers at Walmart at $2.09/lb. That's about the cheapest beef I've ever seen (even on Manager's Special).
